Eager for warmer days, we put a premature end to winter, kick-starting spring by heading to sun-soaked Barcelona.
While Gaudi-esque images of historic monuments, colourful mosaics and a sprawling sandy coastline first come to mind, Catalonia’s capital city also has an impressively sharp, clean and minimalist side to it – a side that effortlessly won us over as the ideal backdrop for shooting our spring showcase.
Harmonising form and function, and resulting in remarkably profound yet simultaneously understated facades and spaces, modernist architecture stands as a fine example of our own aesthetic ideals and principles of design.
